Brian excelled during his collegiate career at national powerhouse Wichita State University. During the 2002 season, Brian was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and was also named 2nd Team All-America. The San Diego Padres selected Brian in the 9th round of the 2002 amateur entry draft. Brian has played a variety of positions during his professional career, including 2B, SS, 3B, and OF. Brian went to the Philadelphia Phillies organization during the Rule 5 draft for the 2006 MLB season. |
